A quick T-shirt concept I entered into a competition at my gym. It received zero votes. Not one. The design turned the CFHS acronym into a tilted four-part “box,” using angular type, movement, and subtle patterns to suggest force, repetition, and structure. Apparently, I understood the geometry of the box better than the culture inside it. In a field of 24 submissions, many created with AI, the most useful lesson was decidedly human: good design depends on knowing your audience.
